Functional Testing
As the final part of the C&G 2391 practical assessment the you will be expected to carry out the functional testing of the electrical installation.
All covers and lids must be replaced and the installation fully energised.
You should test every circuit where it is possible to do a functional test (i.e. lights, sockets etc).
Once functional testing is done, the Periodic Inspection and Testing is completed and the required Electrical Installation Condition Report must be filled in.

This is a live test so extra care is advised!
